1499 missions accomplished by Abadan Emergency Service last month
Head of Accident and Emergency Office, Abadan University of Medical Sciences: ‘We dispatched medical emergency technicians and paramedics on 1499 missions in June-July timeframe.’
This morning in an interview with a Web Da correspondent, Mr. Shahram Maqam said Abadan Emergency Service has carried out 1499 missions in June-July of the current year. Out of all missions, 883 missions were conducted in Abadan, 447, in Khorramshahr, and 169, in Shadegan, he added. 
Head of Accident and Emergency Office, Abadan University of Medical Sciences said 368 accidents caused the victims to be sent to the nearest hospital, and 6 cases were treated on site.
In the end, he told the reporters, out of non-accident missions in the last month, 620 cases needed to be taken to hospital, and 221 cases were treated on site by the medical emergency technicians of Abadan University of Medical Sciences.
